Men and abortion

Last Monday evening at Toastmasters I got to do my second speech in the Competent Communicator Series. I decided to do my speech on the effects of abortion on men. As one of the silent victims (the baby being the most silent of victims) men generally express their feelings very much (as compared to women anyway). This can cause a tremendous burden that if not dealt with in an efficient manner can cause all sorts of trouble in his future. Summers over :-O

So...today was pretty nice outside but it is really sounding like we are in for a doosey of a storm. That's ok for now as lomg as the rain doesn't last until next May or June. We have already had to resort to using the wood stove this year. I guess that our illustrious politicians voted to bail out the financial sector today...I wonder how that is going to affect the little guy? The House of Representatives has to still vote tomorrow so it is not funded yet!!!

Today is a New Day

Today dawned and I was in a Mentoring Class. Not just in the class but preparing to be one of the instructors for the class. We had over 60 people in module 1. I spoke to the leader who is a Psycologist in California about my future at Boeing and the fact that I don't have a degree. He said that the degree is way over played for the older work force today. Funny thing happened later in the day. I met with my mentor who almost insisted that I check out a degree program!

Today has been quite crazy... Toyka spent the evening ...and most of the night at the hospital with her mom...Stephanie is sick and so on and on.
